Steven has worked as a gardener at the Japanese Tea Garden in SF since 2007. He has presented on Japanese gardens and history in the garden and at conferences and workshops around the country. He is currently on the board of directors for the North American Garden Association, and was published in the NAJGA Journal in 2019.
