Our 2024 “Walk Into History” guided tour theme is:

There are two tour types this year: 1) our Regular Tour, one mile, 90 minute, guided tour targeted for adults and older kids, and 2) our one hour Youth Tour, a special version of our guided tour geared towards elementary school aged children (children must be accompanied by an adult). There are 13 Regular Tours starting every 30 minutes, starting at 9:00am. There are two Youth Tours: 9:45am and 12:45pm. All tours start at the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce office at: 85 Throckmorton Avenue, Mill Valley. Service dogs only, please.

Join a guided tour of gathering places in Mill Valley where people have come together over the years for community events, entertainment, recreation, and more. Visit sites along the route from the vibrant downtown area surrounding the old railroad depot to the quiet shaded spaces of Old Mill Park. Learn about how these spaces came to be and their role in creating and sustaining the community of Mill Valley.
Tours start at the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce office on Throckmorton Avenue and finish in the MV Library’s amazing History Room.
Children are welcome and their tickets are free.
The Regular Tours start times are every 30 minutes from 9am and 3pm (last tour begins at 3pm).
Two special Youth Tours for children and their families will be offered at 9:45am and 12:45pm.
