The Mill Valley Historical Society’s 43rd Annual Members’ Meeting
Our annual meeting was held on October 29, 2020 via a virtual Zoom meeting.
At the meeting, the first Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to two long-time and exemplary members, Betty Goerke and Chuck Oldenburg.
In addition, members voted to approve six amendments to the MVHS Bylaws and elected two new Board members.
Details on these items are in the recording.
The evening’s featured presentation, titled TURNING POINTS: CHAOS AND OPTIMISM IN 1932, 1968 and 2020 was given by MVHS President, Eric Macris. It gave us a fascinating look at three years in history that were defined by cultural, political, economic and technology impacts.
